The Burnlaw Kinde is a weekly group for children aged 3-7 years. We aim to create a warm, loving and home-like atmosphere for children to grow in freedom and at their own pace, with an emphasis on individual creativity.

The Kinde was founded by Holly Clay, and is now run jointly with Jennifer Power, both early years practitioners who are inspired by the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner with emphasis on nourishing the imaginative, creative and spiritual life of the young child. Sensitivity to nature and to the environment are central to the ethos of The Burnlaw Kinde. The changing seasons are celebrated with festivals, songs and crafts.

The Kinde currently meets on a Wednesday between 10am -1.30pm. We are in the process of registering and are hoping to start an additional day on Tuesdays in the new year.
