Earthing the Spirit 2015

Growing beautiful children, growing inspirational communities.

18th-24th July 2015

Earthing the Spirit is a festival, a gathering, a feast. We will come together to explore spiritual, practical, intellectual and creative realities. There will be music, meditation, stories around fires, discussion of reality over tea, planning of action, envisaging of new futures, learning new skills. There will be spontaneous madness, calm inwardness, sweet bliss and happiness.

Each day will follow a rhythm; in the morning we will ‘breathe in’ – explore spiritual realities, meditate, discuss world politics and try to strengthen our spirit and intellect by following workshops that will run throughout the week. In the afternoon we will ‘breathe out’ – express ourselves creatively through the arts and gather new skills. In the evening there will be story telling, ceilidhs, performances, astronomy and music.

We will sustain ourselves with three delicious communal meals a day.

The hope is that we can inspire each other as humans, and gain skills and insights that we can take back to our communities and everyday lives with energy and passion.

Every one is invited to contribute to creating this space in any way they feel is possible, from small gestures of love to spontaneous workshops on cheese production. The festival site can only accommodate 100 people so please get in touch and book your place!

The Baha’is and their friends are engaged in a transformational world-wide community building experiment. This course is a practical look at its elements and how we might make use of them. The course will include the following: Working with virtues, or qualities, in order to illumine our own lives, past present and future. We will look at nurturing our own spiritual lives and how we maintain the connection and flow with Spirit and universal energy.

·How to raise and teach children so that they:

· know their own spiritual nature

· know and can work with their own particular strengths and weaknesses

·want to make their world a better place and feel powerful to do so.

·Community building and joined-up thinking. ‘It takes a village (street/ neighbourhood) to raise a child.’ We will explore how children teenagers and adults can together create wonderful communities.

Rosie Villires-Stuart is an artist, a healer and an endorphin coach with particulars interest in the spiritual education of children.

Walking to awareness led by Tim Rubidge.

Using the discipline of silent walking, Tim will take you on a daily exploration of Northumberland’s outer landscapes and your own inner landscape, and facilitate a creative dialogue between the two. Participants will be invited to creatively respond to their experience in an art form which they feel comfortable with be it words poems, pros or visual representation.

Tim is a professional choreographer with a passionate interest in exploring the relationship between the effects of the environment on human consciousness.

I will be teaching different processes to enable the Lightbody which informs our life to stay clear and clean from physic sludge and old unhelpful stories. Our Luminous Energy Field when healthy and vibrant helps us to connect clearly with Divine Great Spirit and steers our lives to reach our full potential .This allows our Soul to guide us with ease to fulfill our purpose as Compassionate Human Beings and Earth Stewards. During this workshop I will be passing on the beautiful first of the nine shamanic Munay Ki (I Love you as you are) rites of my shamanic lineage:The Healers Rite. We shall be creating the first medicine stone to help us open up to our own healing. Please bring with you a special stone or crystal,(not too big), a blanket, comfortable clothing and a journal.

Kathryna Cuschieri is a practicing Shaman and teaches The Way of the Shaman in Malta,England and Ireland .She is guided by the Andean Lineage of medicine men and women and has trained at the Four Winds Society ‘s Healing the Lightbody School run by Alberto Viloldo.

The Birth of a new a divine civilisation. led by Garry Villiers-Stuart

During the nineteenth ans twentieth century four exquisite souls earthed the foundational vision of Divine Unity. It is known as the Baha’i tradition. This tradition asserts that humanity has begun to slowly and turbulently accept a fundamental paradigm change in which old confrontational method or settling disputes give way to new co operative methods of solving problems. As the old world views give way to new ways of being seeing and behaving a collective civilisation begins to take shape. This course will look at the contribution these souls to our capacity to envision the future and the practical implications this has for individual human identity and practice as the new paradigm begins to inform human consciousness.

Soul Quest, a range of educational soul rich activities will be run for Youth and children.
